SCHOOL INVOLVEMENT
The Garage is an experienced provider of education activities for schools. We can tailor make a range of courses, clubs, workshops, professional touring theatre trips and other opportunities to suit your needs.
Activities are designed to enthuse and excite by giving young people a taste for participating in creative activity whilst developing transferable skills. Our team are experts in working with young people, particularly those who, for whatever reason, find it more difficult to engage.
Activities are based around dance, drama and music. Our aim is to take away all the hassle of managing your activity; we contract professional artists and tutors, complete risk assessments, gather evaluation and feedback information for you when we are finished. We cater for Pre-School, through to Secondary Education, whilst also offering workshops for Level 3 courses and beyond. We can even embed nationally recognised Arts Award accreditation, or GCSE/BTEC Qualifications into projects. All you need to do is provide the young people. Our Schools provision includes but is not limited to:
- Afterschool Clubs
- Lunchtime Clubs
- Breakfast Clubs
- One-Off Workshops (at The Garage or in Schools)
- Topic Related Workshop Days (at The Garage or in Schools)
- Dance within PE Curriculum Teaching
- CPD for Teachers
- GCSE Dance/Drama Cover
- BTEC Performing Arts Cover
