The Garage

The Garage Trust is a Norfolk-based performing arts charity running two arts centres: The Garage in Norwich, and The Workshop in King’s Lynn. We run dance, drama and music classes for all ages and abilities; present the best of small-scale theatre from around the UK; provide GCSE and HNC qualifications; run a wide range of community engagement programmes; support artist development; and co-produce great performances for children and young people.

Our purpose is to change people’s lives through art, especially the lives of young people, and those who face challenging circumstances.

Our Registered Charity No. is 1098975

PLEASE NOTE
Our ground floor café will be closed from Monday 15 January until Monday 26 February 2024.
This is to carry out works which will make it a more flexible and welcoming space for all our participants, audiences and visitors.
During this time, there will only be limited seating available in the entrance foyer, it will be more crowded at certain times of day, and no food and drink, apart from water, will be available during the day. For performances in the evenings, drinks will be on sale.
If you have any questions about this, please let us know. You can email info@thegarage.org.uk or call us on 01603 283382.
