Our summer term begins online on 19 April for a block of six weeks until half-term. We’re planning to reopen the building from 7 June and can’t wait to welcome you back to the studios.

In the meantime, we’ve lots of Easter fun for the family, with Easter Storytime for ages 1-5 on 2 April, Lets Dance Together for ages 2+ on 5 April and My First Dance: Spring Special for ages 2-5 on 7 April.

Following latest lockdown guidance, our spring term will now begin online from Monday 18 January. We have adapted our online class programme to offer something for everyone. While many of our adult sessions will remain the same there are some new developments to children’s classes and exciting options for everyone to engage in different ways. We’ve dropped class prices too. Bookings are now open. If you have already booked your place we will be in touch to update you.

NEW! Why not have a dance party with your friends? Dance across the room with your gran?! Work out a fun routine with neighbours or cousins on the other side of the country! In our new My First Let’s Dance Together sessions you can zoom in to a fun and creative dance class with up to 4 households, for all ages and abilities. Whether it is building up your ballet technique, starting a January health kick or working on theatre monologues, we can offer something to suit you. This is an amazing opportunity to really develop your confidence and skills with our fantastic team of tutors. Contact to enquire and book a place. One-to-one 45 minute sessions will cost £8 and will be bookable online. AGE: 7+

All accredited education courses will now be taught online via Zoom. Students will be contacted with further details in due course.

Because of Covid-19 restrictions, the team behind our popular My First Panto opted to move this year’s production online. You can still get your digital passes here.

Adam Taylor, executive director at The Garage, said: “This year, we wanted to make sure that grandparents, parents and their children could all enjoy the pantomime experience securely. This way, everyone can be a part of the fun, excitement and laughter in their own bubbles to ensure this key part of the Christmas calendar still happens albeit in a slightly different way.”

Reviewers have called My First Panto: Goldilocks and the Three Bears “an innovative online experience (and) authentic panto feel at home” that “really allows (youngsters) to get right into what’s going on” and that you will “want to watch again”. Watch the trailer below.
