Christmas 2023, find out what happened to Pinocchio when he became a real boy

Have you ever wondered what happened to Pinocchio after he became a real boy? Find out at The Garage in Norwich this Christmas.

Pinocchio thought life would be better with no strings to hold him down, to make him fret, or make him frown. But being human comes with a whole heap of different ties and he soon feels the pull of being a puppet again.

When the sly Fox tempts him with riches and fame, Pinocchio and his friend, Cricket, get into a series of perilous predicaments as he learns the importance of embracing who you truly are.

A Pinocchio Adventure is the newest magical musical adventure for ages 5-8 from Norwich-based All-In Productions and The Garage. This Arts Council England funded festive treat is for young audiences who are now a little too old for the team’s fan favourite My First family shows but not quite ready for a full-blown theatre trip.

All-In Productions’ artistic director Daniel Burgess wrote and is directing the show.

He said: “We’ve been introducing children to the fun of live theatre for a while now. Dancing, singing, music, and storytelling are great ways to help children’s development in those crucial early years of learning. It’s a fantastic way to enjoy an hour with their grown-ups too.

“This is a fun, feelgood, family adventure packed with original music and mayhem, with a heart-warming and timely message about accepting oneself. If you love the many films or books about Pinocchio’s adventures, you’ll love this exciting new chapter. You wood knot want to miss it.”

A Pinocchio Adventure runs here, in Chapel Field North, Norwich, from 14-24 December. There are performances at 10.30am, 1.30pm, and 4.30pm most days. There are also British Sign Language interpreted and relaxed performances.

Tickets are now on sale from or by calling 01603 283382.
