The centrepiece of the Garage is a fully operational Studio Theatre that seats up to 120 people. The highly specified space is particuarly versatile and can be used in a variety of layouts.

The Garage Theatre is an intimate space, perfect for a variety of performances, events and related training activities. The space boasts state-of-the-art lighting and sound facilities in addition to fully retractable seating and stage. The versatility of the space means that it is possible to arrange it in a variety of layouts such as "In the round", "Cabaret", "Thrust" and many more. It is worth noting that the audience capacity is affected by the various layouts. A high tension wire grid enables easy adjustment to lighting facilities as well as creating a safe environment for technical lighting training.

Hiring the Theatre is easy; technical support, stewards and a fully licensed bar can be arranged on your behalf should you require them. You can even have access to the Theatre Royal Box Office service to ensure your tickets are readily available to all those that may like to attend your event.
