Overdrive: Musical Theatre Mission

Monday 25^th - Friday 29^th October, 10am - 4pm

A week-long project working alongside West End Musical Theatre professionals to produce a live performance on the final day for friends & family to come & watch. Funded by Youth Music.

Sharpen your skills, study your craft and learn how to flourish as a strong cast member.
A live performance on the final day will allow you to showcase your skills.
It's a chance to work alongside West End Musical Theatre professionals & learn the tips of the trade, make new friends, discover new talents, and give your self-confidence a big boost! Work as a group to create your own original performance including songs from one of the big West End Shows.
Sing, dance and act your way to the top in this fresh musical theatre workout. Ideal for first-timers and those with experience.

Age group: 13-19 years

Mini Musical Theatre Mission

Thursday 28^th & Friday 29^th October, 10.30am - 3.30pm

2 days of pacey workshops full of fun, games & song. Perfect for first timers who would like to make new friends! They will work with the Overdrive creative team to perform a group song as part of a live performance on the Friday afternoon for friends & family to come & watch. Funded by Youth Music.

Age group: 9-12 years

re:bourne Adventures in Dance Residency

Monday 25^th - Friday 29^th October, 10am - 4pm.

A week-long residency with dancers from Matthew Bourne's New Adventures Dance Company. The UK's leading contemporary / theatre dance company! Take part in contemporary dance classes, learn choreography & create your own dance pieces to show your friends & family on the Friday afternoon.

Age group: 13 - 21 years

Cost: Free (This project is supported by the Lankelly Chase Trust)

Sound Trax

Monday 25^th - Friday 29^th October, 9.30am - 4.30pm. Come & spend an exciting week at The Garage creating your own soundtracks to films & theatre productions you already love or those you might like to make in the future!  You'll get to work with professional musicians & media specialists from Community Music East. No experience necessary. By doing this project you will also achieve an accreditation from the National Open College Network.  

Age group: 16-18 years & not in education, employment or training.

Cost: Free (This project is financially supported by the Youth East programme from City College Norwich.)
