SUMMER PRODUCTION VOLUNTEER ROLES
We are looking individuals aged 18+ to join our busy summer production team for The Big Summer Production: Aladdin. You will be part of the creative team that is bought together for duration of the production. We spend two weeks rehearsing the production and this culminates with 4 performances in The Garage theatre. The cast is made up of 50 young people between the ages of 7 and 18 years. Opportunity type: Termly
Time commitment: Minimum of 1 hour per week during term time (term length 10-12 weeks)

Progression: Experience and skills gained will suit those looking to work in Arts Delivery, Community Arts, Arts Education, Youth Theatre and Youth Work.
We are looking for motivated individuals 18+ who have a desire to help others and have an interest in the arts. You would join our busy team as a support worker, working with and supporting our children and young people through their chosen art form.

The Garage has a commitment to staff well-being, and has worked with the Thriving Workplaces team, Norfolk’s free workplaces health provider commissioned by Norfolk County Council to help us build a happier and healthier workforce.
We encourage appropriate requests for Flexitime working to suit staff and their job
We encourage appropriate request to work remotely and work from home to suit staff and their job
We encourage staff to take part in a participatory/exercise class as part of working hours, for free.
We encourage staff to watch shows at The Garage as part of their working hours, as a minimum a member of staff and a guest can have a complementary ticket to shows as ‘walk-ins’.
Where possible we will make a CoL increase each year of at least 0.5%, to be reviewed every September.
We encourage staff to eat their lunch away from their desk, they can do this in any of our vacant spaces – just leave it clean and tidy afterwards
