  • Overview

    Six weeks of dance and six weeks of drama! A fantastic opportunity for young people who are home educated to get creative and learn dance routines, create their own characters and stories, and make new friends.


    What techniques are taught in this class? Co-ordination, balance, characterisation, improvisation and devising.

    What skills are developed/improved? There are many skills that we will work on including; teamwork, focus, and imagination!

    How is a class structured/what do we do in a class? Every week we will start by playing some warm up games for fun and to get energy and focus in the group. Then for the majority of the session we will do different games and activities related to the different skills mentioned above. At the end of the session we will play a game and get feedback from the group.

    Why would I come to this class? It is a great class to come and get creative in a fun and friendly environment. You can improve on your teamwork skills and increase confidence.

    What level is this class - beginner, improver, intermediate or advanced? Open 

    What should I wear to the class? Clothes and shoes that you are comfortable in and can easily move around.
