The Garage venue boasts a number of professional standard facilities, suitable for a wide range of creative and business use. These include:

Studio Theatre: The centerpiece of the Garage is its fully operational studio theatre which can seat up to 110 people in a range of different layouts. It can also be used for standing events and can accommodate up to 180 people. The high specification of equipment and design means that it is particularly versatile and can be adapted to a variety of layouts offering a wide choice for your performance or event.


Dance Studios: Each of our dance studios are fitted out to a professional standard, each boasting a fully sprung floor, mirrors and dance barres. A range of activities take place throughout the day, in evenings and at weekends. They range from all types of dance through to fitness, self defence classes, yoga and Pilates.

Multi Purpose Studios and Meeting Rooms: Our multi purpose studio spaces are suitable for a variety of activities ranging from drama rehearsals through to media activities, meetings, training and exhibitions. Each studio has windows overlooking the attractive Chapelfield Gardens and can be supplied with a range of furniture and equipment options to meet your needs.


All of our spaces are available for hire to community groups, businesses and other organizations seeking high quality facilities, conveniently located in the city centre.
