Carl's Story
  • Overview

A new comic drama by Gavin Miller.

Set against a backdrop of journalistic misinformation and broken morals, journalist Annie and divorcee Beth have their friendship put to the ultimate test when Annie encourages Beth to embark on an affair with husband Carl. Unbeknownst to Annie, teenage daughter Darcy is aware of her mum’s manoeuvring and becomes a moral overseer of the proceedings. When Beth’s ex-husband, John, appears, the surfacing of a dark secret puts Annie’s plans in jeopardy.

As more is revealed about the eponymous Carl, each character’s ‘truth` unravels. The pressure mounts and both women are forced to face up to the past, a past in which they have been nothing less than loose with the truth.
