The Garage is a community venue and we aim to offer voluntary and community groups the very best in service, professional facilities and warm welcome. Using The Garage for your group is much more than simply accessing space, it is about becoming part of a community. We can help advise you if you are just getting started or make connections with other organizations if you are looking to grow your activity to develop new and exciting work.

Our experience as a youth venue means that we have all the safety procedures and protocols in place. Staff and volunteers at The Garage are all CRB checked, we have systems to monitor child protection and can even provide you with help for your own activities. All of our spaces are risk assessed and you are welcome to copies for your own use. We have years of experience in supporting new and emerging groups to establish successful activities here and know that the little touches like including your activity on our website and email newsletters, inviting you to participate in Open Days or simply supporting you to gain valuable press coverage can make all the difference.

We also understand that, for not for profit organizations, finances can often be tight, that's why we have discounted hire rates that mean you get the very best professional facilities and services, but not at bank busting prices.
