Are you ready to take your first steps towards a professional music career? Then Unsigned, the new intermediate level of our Musicians’ Development Programme, can help.

You’ve until Thursday, 3 October to apply for the chance to have weekly one-and-a-half hour sessions with music industry professionals, record a demo, perform at The Waterfront in Norwich and more.

The 11-month programme is for experienced bands or solo artists aged 14-25. You’ll work on your musicianship, songwriting, performance skills, promotion and your identity as an artist while learning more the music industry.

Interested artists should email takepart@thegarage.org.uk stating why you want to take part in the programme, your music style and experience (including any links to music or performance footage if available) please write Application to Unsigned in the subject header.

If we think you’re right for the programme we’ll invite you to an audition on Thursday, 10 October.

The last programme also included an amazing gig at The Waterfront in Norwich.

If you don’t feel quite ready for this level or don’t gain a place after the selection and audition process you can join either our beginners or improvers Musicians’ Development Programme for which termly fees do apply.

Supported by Youth Music England and The Norfolk Music Education Hub, participation is free for those selected but space is limited.
