Are you a regional performance company that needs help bringing an exciting new piece of work to fruition? The Garage are looking for local performance companies to take part in the next of it's Scratch Nights on Friday 5 May, in co-production with All-In Productions and REDuck ProDUCKtions. This is a great opportunity to develop new work, gain invaluable support, and access space to rehearse!

Successful applicants will be given space to rehearse and develop their work before the event, and will share 100% of the Box Office takings. They will get to present 15 minutes of the piece to an audience in the theatre. After the event companies that have taken part will have the opportunity to further develop their work, The Garage will be assisting them with funding bids, mentoring and more.

Previous Scratch Companies have gone on to attain funding to further develop their pieces, such as The Keeper's Daughter who said, “The Scratch Nights have helped us develop a relationship with The Garage and to attain funding from Arts Council England to further develop Tomorrow is Your Hope our piece from the first Scratch Night. It has allowed us to develop as a company and work on new writing, which we want to focus on”.

We will be inviting applications from a range of disciplines including dance, physical theatre, circus, immersive theatre and more.

Applications for the first Scratch Night are open now, with a deadline of Friday 7 April, 5pm. To apply download the application form here and return to takepart@thegarage.org.uk.
